I have just started using Disqus and so far like it a lot. It seems to have better features than Intense Debate

I have switched to DISQUS for my site and so far love it. I have also tried intense debate though didn't like the interface or the usability as well. The best part for me using DISQUS is that people can comment using their Facebook and Twitter profiles.

Since disqus, it has become very convenient to blog, it not only helps with commenting, but even good to track comments. I mean I can get a whole list comment just by logging in to my page.

I've used disqus, from a commenter point of view more than a publisher. A cool feature is that you can follow the comments of a disqus member that you like

I'll be interested to see how Disqus does with DisneyFrontier.com. The site receives a ton of spam comments - almost 900,000 caught by Akismet since the launch. I'm hoping that Disqus does as well as Akismet has over the years.

I saw these guys at conference and when I looked up the system I thought it would be redundant. I rarely deal with spam, though, so it wasn't a concern at the time. Keep us posted on how it works out.
